There are 3 different favours to choose from….
JPY1,000 (S$13) for 3 packets…
We brought 3 packets on the spot…

Mercedes are rarely spotted on the streets of Japan….

Lunch at First Kitchen, one of the Japanese Fast Food restaurants…
Just look at the variety of sauces available…

This restaurant is noteworthy for its flavored French fries, called "Flavour Potato".
We found the fries normal since the added favours are just MSG…

Yup, the female biker is touching up her makeup in the middle of the road
while waiting for the traffic light to turn green…
Vance: I do that too sometimes on my bike *wink*

Potted plant displays in Isetan (JR Kyoto Station)…

Aren’t the “rabbits” cute?

Pet shop within the shopping centre….. Hammies for sale!

Aaaaahhhh! It’s sleeping with 4 legs in the sky!
Vance: Aren't it suppose to be 2 hands and 2 legs? What happened? :P

Entrance of JR Kyoto Station…

Environmental friendly toilet inside our room (Hifumi Ryokan),
you can wash your hands and water will be saved for the next flushing…
Vance: Suggest you wash your really dirty hand (if it is) on a regular basin...
else you will be storing those water! :P

Bathtub and washing area (Hifumi Ryokan)…
Vance: Hey, this bathtub is DEEP! Its up to my waist level
when I'm standing in it (mind you, I stand more than 2++ metres!).
Oh yes, it can contain two pax... if you really must know *wink*

Slippers for the toilet…
Vance: They have slippers for all sort of "occasion",
Slippers for the general area and for the toilets...
even the hotel's public toilets!

Traditional phones… I almost have forgotten how to use such dial phones…

Overview of the room...

Wardrobe and safe… with the cotton Yukata robes prepared promptly…
BTW, sleeping robes or pyjamas are provided by most hotel / ryokan…

Experience the elements of Japanese culture and customs :
Living in a room with Tatami flooring,
changing into a typical Yukata after
taking an Onsen hot-spring bath and sleeping on Futon…
