Bottom of the famous wooden terrace…

There’s many shops, restaurants along the steep and busy lanes
leading towards the temple… It’s ice-cream time again!

Vanilla and Green Tea duo… Simply matching!

Gion is Kyoto’s most famous Geisha district along Hanami-koji street.
There’s numerous beautiful old buildings, teahouses and restaurant.

As we arrived in late afternoon,
we didn’t manage to spot any Geisha apprentice
(They only appear in the evening)….

There is a popular misconception that Gion is a red-light district.
Geisha are entertainers, not prostitutes and hence Gion is not,
and never was a red-light district.

Traditional water pumps…

Common to see monks by the river side…

McDonald’s staffs with their moving advertisements…

Dinner for today : Packed food from Isetan…….. Looks scrumptious!

It’s lip-smacking! If only Isetan Singapore sells such good stuffs…
BTW, Isetan charge card cannot be used in Isetan Japan…

Fiona in cotton Yukata…

Doesn’t Vance looks Japanese… Particularly his small eyes?
