Catch a ice-cream?

Lots of Sonic merchandise for sale…

Sonic chocolates…

Sonic plush…

Joypolis biscuits as souvenirs?

The Dog!

More doggies...

Michael Jackson was here in 1996! That's 12 years ago...

Michael Jackson again...

Tom Cruise (left) was here in 2000...

Norika Fujiwara (藤原紀香) was here in 2002...
For those who doesn't know who she is, Norika is a
Japanese beauty queen, model and actress...

Ayumi Hamasaki (浜崎歩) was here in year 2000.

Leonardo Dicaprio was here in 2000 too...
Vance: Seems like 2000 was a year of Celeb for SEGA Joypolis?!?!

On our way back to Ueno... We need to adjust the fares...
Lesson Learnt for our trip : If you are unsure about how much to pay,
just pay the cheapest fare and upon arrival,
look out for the fare adjustment machine to top up the differences...
No worries, you wouldn't be fined for that...
Vance: The system allows one to make errors and correct accordingly...
and doesn't penalise one unnecessary.. with fines like in.... SOME countries....

Instructions on usage of Fare Adjustment Machine...

As it’s getting late and we don’t want to miss the last train, in Akihabara,
we transferred to the Tsukuba Express bound for Shin-Okachimachi...

The last train was packed with passengers…

Luckily, we managed to catch the last train…
Vance: We played so much at Obaida that we missed the timings...
really glad to catch the last train...
otherwise taxi fare in Tokyo will burn a big hole in our pockets!

The Tsukuba Express (TX), is one of the Jap railway line
of the Metropolitan Intercity Railway Company which links
Akihabara Station in Chiyoda, Tokyo and Tsukuba Station in Tsukuba, Ibaraki.

After a long day… Finally backed to the hotel…

Back to the familiar Villa Fontaine theme...

The rooms is slightly bigger than the one in Osaka...
Vance: Slightly more expensive here too! :)

Simpler but cosy...

They have a larger area for hanging clothes...
Vance: Still "Open concept" though!

The bathroom...

Not forgetting the bidet toilet... Maybe we should install one of these in HamHamFarm?

These cold noodles and sandwiches were brought from convenience stores!
If only our 7-11 carries these…

And it was scrumptious! Complete with spring onions, wasabi and seaweed!

3 favours in one pack of sandwiches… Tuna, Ham and Egg Mayo….
You don’t get such good tasting sandwiches in our 7-11s…
Vance: Its really nice, though its a packet type, but its fresh as if its made on the spot!
