In this Album :
Ginza, Sony Building & Akihabara (Maid Cafe)

Our last full day in Tokyo before we depart for Singapore tomorrow. In the morning, we visited Ginza, which is Tokyo's most famous upmarket shopping, dining and entertainment district, featuring numerous department stores, boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, night clubs and cafes. The purpose of visiting Ginza is to check out Burberry Building which encompasses 1,300 square metres across eight floors! How can I leave Japan without getting a Burberry Blue Label Bag? Keke :)

Next, we visited Sony Building, which is also located in Ginza. Sony Showroom is a must visit for Sony Fans where you can see, touch and try out the latest Sony products.

In the afternoon, we visited Akihabara, a district in central Tokyo, famous for its many electronics shops. The most interesting recent development in Akihabara is the opening of various maid cafes, where young pretty girls will dress themselves as maids to serve coffee and tea to the visitors. At an extra fee, they play Playstation and take photos with their customers. No wonder Akihabara is a district dominated by Japanese men. Out of curiosity, we visited one of the maid café as well. To my horror, I’m the only female customer?!

Location: Japan - Tokyo

Drink brought from Convenience store… Come with free phone accessories… Cool!

Various patterns available… Aims to get their customers to collect them all…

Vance’s favourite bread (again)… This time in honey dew favour…

Transfer from Oedo Line to the Asakusa line within Kuramae Station isn’t easy at all…

You have to get out of the station, walk along the main street walk 90 meters
before you can transfer to the Asakusa line? That’s so not user friendly!
Vance: Its a long walk along the side of a busy street!

Finally see the Asakusa line entrance after some walking…

BTW, most trains in Japan have weak aircon areas…

Finally reached Burberry Building! :)

But it is not open yet…

8 Floors of Burberry items in one building!

Operating hours from 11AM – 8PM. We were there early as
we heard horror stories on how Burberry Blue items are so popular amongst tourists,
especially Chin Na tourist who grabs almost everything they see…

Hakuhinkan Toy Park featuring 8 levels of toys just beside Burberry Building…
It’s another popular place for tourists with kids…

Still early, hence we decided to have McDonald breakfast first…

McBakery at JPY100 (S$1.30) per piece… That’s something that you can’t find in Singapore…

We decided to have a try…

McWrap is another item that you don’t see in Singapore’s menu…

Tasted a bit like those KFC’s wraps…

Verdict : McBakery sucks!

Eerr… That must be really uncomfortable!

Vance enjoying the McWrap and milk…

So disappointed with McBakery… We were thinking of trying it since we saw it in Osaka…
